2000 – Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37 with a Volvo Penta MD2030C 29hp Engine

This Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 37 is in excellent condition and has been well cared for by its current owner. These sailing boats are a popular choice for families and are ideal for sailing in the Solent or beyond, thanks to their roomy interior layout and easy handling.

The current owner has upgraded and renewed all necessary components, including the rigging, seacocks, and batteries.

Below deck, the interior feels light and airy, and the generous beam provides ample internal space. The boat features two spacious cabins, both equipped with upgraded mattresses. The heads is a good size and includes a separate shower compartment, making it perfect for extended trips.

On deck, the boat boasts a spacious cockpit with a large single wheel and a teak cockpit table. The wide side decks allow for safe and easy movement around the boat. All lines are led back to the cockpit, which has four winches—two located under the sprayhood for the halyards, and two on both the port and starboard sides for the genoa sheets—making this boat easy to sail.

Powering the vessel is a well-maintained Volvo Penta 29hp engine, which has recently had a new alternator and exhaust elbow installed. In addition, the boat has received significant upgrades, including new batteries, a 100W solar panel, and a smart battery charger.
