1988 – Hardy Fishing 24

The Hardy Fishing 24 is a versatile utility boat equally suited to many uses from fishing to support and rescue work, dive boat to rugged compact cruiser. Over 150 have been built to date of this classic design, offering excellent sea keeping qualities and stability on anchor that have made them so popular over the years.

The enclosed wheelhouse has standing headroom, seating for two and a galley to port with sink a two burner gas hob.  The forward cabin with two berths also containing the sea toilet (new 2022) is lined and carpeted to provide comfort and protection.

The forward cabin hatch provides cabin ventilation and access to the forward deck and self draining chain locker.  There is easy access from the cockpit onto the wide lowered side decks.

The self-draining cockpit spans over 100 sq. ft., providing ample space for activities or work, which is impressive for a boat of this size.

The current owner has kept the boat well-maintained, with annual servicing, the last engine service was in January 2025, and included new seals on the Z-Drive.

Recent updates include new headlining in the forward cabin (2025), re-tightening of the fender rope (2025), new cockpit enclosure (March 2022) and new Traditional Rope Fender (2022).

Last surveyed in August 2019, a copy of the report is available to interested parties.
