We are really pleased to bring to market this exceptional RIB. This is a 2006 Scorpion 8.5 with a 2007 Suzuki 300hp engine. The Scorpion 8.5 hull is renowned as being one of the softest and most capable hulls used for both endurance racing and leisure.
This boat is set-up very much with the leisure market in mind whilst still giving effortless 50knot performance from the powerful and light Suzuki 300hp four stroke outboard.
In terms of condition this boat is literally sparkling, she has been maintained meticulously by her current owner who has previously worked on superyachts.. the attention to detail on how he keeps his rib is clear to see.
The engine has done a little over 400 hours and runs very smoothly, quick to plane and accelerate to c50 knots. The deck is laid to Syntheitc teak that is in perfect condition as are the tubes that are original but unmarked. There is a sunpad on the bow area as well as a large locker which could accommodate a Portaloo if needed.
This boat is very rare in that it has 6 jockey seats as well as the rear bench seat which gives comfortable seating for 10 people including the console seat.
She has twin batteries in a very clean a tidy bilge area and all electronics work on the boat. She is also fitted with a Chart plotter, Radar, VHF, Nav Lights, Bilge Pump, Fusion Head Unit and full digital Suzuki dials.
