1999 – Fairline Targa 34 with Twin Volvo Penta KAD44 engines

Parker Adams Boat Sales are delighted to present this outstanding 1999 Fairline Targa 34, powered by the highly sought-after twin Volvo Penta KAD44 diesel engines.

This is far more than just another Targa 34. Having undergone an extensive cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment, this beautiful example presents in exceptional condition and offers a rare opportunity to purchase one of the finest examples currently available. The current owner has invested significantly to modernise the boat whilst carefully preserving the classic Fairline quality and styling.

From the moment you step aboard, the attention to detail is immediately apparent. The cockpit has been completely reupholstered and remains in outstanding condition, with much of the upholstery still protected in its original wrapping. Below deck, the interior has been transformed with luxurious new carpets, bespoke upholstery, newly made curtains and stylish grey galley cupboard fronts, creating a fresh, contemporary feel that perfectly complements the timeless Fairline interior.

The helm has also received a complete redesign with a bespoke dashboard housing twin Raymarine Axiom 9 multifunction displays, providing a modern navigation suite while maintaining a clean factory-style appearance. Custom stainless steel cup holders have also been fitted to the foredeck, adding another premium finishing touch.

Mechanically, the boat has benefited from extensive recent investment. During the previous winter, the hull was professionally stripped back to the gelcoat before receiving a full epoxy protection system and fresh antifoul, representing an investment of approximately £3,000. Both turbochargers were replaced last year, both heat exchangers have been professionally removed and cleaned, two new batteries were fitted at the end of last season, and the stainless steel propellers have been professionally re-bushed and are ready for installation. The owner has also invested approximately £6,000 in new navigation electronics and helm upgrades.

The engine bay has been professionally detailed to the same exceptionally high standard as the rest of the vessel, reflecting the level of care and attention this boat has received throughout its ownership.

A comprehensive history file accompanies the boat, including extensive maintenance records and invoices documenting the significant expenditure over the years. Engine hours are approximately 650 (to be confirmed).

Whether you’re looking for weekend cruising, family adventures or extended coastal passages, the Fairline Targa 34 remains one of the most respected sports cruisers of its generation. Renowned for its outstanding build quality, confident sea-keeping, spacious accommodation and exhilarating performance from the twin Volvo Penta KAD44 engines, it continues to be one of the most sought-after models in its class.
