The Bavaria 30 Sport offers exceptional space and thoughtful design for her size. Below, elegant mahogany cabinetry, soft cream leather upholstery and new carpets create a warm, fresh, contemporary feel.
The private aft cabin has a full-size double berth, a standing-height changing area, a bench seat with storage, a large hanging locker and additional high and low level storage. In the saloon, the U-shaped dinette converts easily into a second double berth, ideal for guests or family. Under-seat storage, overhead lockers, a bulkhead mirror, an overhead deck hatch and opening portlights keep the space bright, practical and well ventilated. A flat-screen TV was installed in October 2021.
The galley has a stainless-steel sink with hot and cold mixer tap, a fridge with freezer compartment and a diesel two-ring hob. The heads and shower compartment has an electric flush toilet, a moulded basin with hot and cold mixer tap and shower wand, storage lockers, a towel rail, a mirror and an opening portlight. Eberspächer programmable warm air heating extends the cruising season.
Performance
The Volvo Penta D4 300hp diesel gives strong, responsive power through the sterndrive, with freshwater cooling and QL trim controls for fine adjustment of the running angle. The Duo Props, new in 2019, improve grip and handling, and the Side Power bow thruster takes the stress out of marina manoeuvres.
The engine bay is large and spacious, accessed by an electric hatch lift. New intercooler end caps were fitted in 2021, along with a Marine 16 Diesel Dipper fuel cleaning system in October 2021.
